Terms and conditions

Until a deposit is received, no order is accepted, guaranteed, or otherwise arranged. Deposits are non-refundable.
Upon receipt of deposits, you are confirming that you have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions.
Quotes are valid for seven days from the date of issue. A quote does not constitute a booking, and your date and order are not secure until payment has been made. Your order will not be confirmed until payment is received and confirmed by me. Payments are via bank transfer only, using your name as a reference. Payment secures your booking as per the order/designs discussed; any changes to this may incur an additional charge.
Kindly inform us of any allergies you may have when making your order.
Non-Edible Items
Most cakes contain small proportions of inedible items, it is the clients responsibility to ensure
these are removed by your caterer/guests before consumption e.g. support dowels in tiered
cakes, ribbon, wires in sugar flowers.
Cakes and decorations are delicate and should be handled with care. All efforts are made to ensure that your decorations and cake are securely stable.
Once a cake has been collected or left the premises, The Fairycupcaker assumes no responsibility for any damage that may occur to it.
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the safety and security of their cake after it has been set up. Cakes can be heavy and require careful handling and storage.
To transport your cake safely, please follow these guidelines:
1. Place the cake box in the front footwell or empty boot of the vehicle.
2. Avoid placing the box on car seats or on someone’s knee.
3. For an additional fee, we offer cake delivery services. During delivery, we will take complete responsibility for the cake until it is received.
I would be most appreciative if you could adhere to your scheduled appointment times. I have several cakes scheduled to be collected/delivered on the same day. If you are running late, please inform me in advance, ideally within an hour of the scheduled time. This allows me to adjust my schedule accordingly. Any appointments later than an hour, unless I have been specifically notified otherwise, will not be guaranteed.
As a business owner, I understand the value of punctuality. Time wasted waiting is unacceptable, as it hinders my ability to complete my work commitments and personal responsibilities.

**Storage Instructions:**
Cakes should be stored in a cool, dark place, protected from direct sunlight and damp conditions. They should be placed on a flat, sturdy surface in the provided boxes.
Best Before Date
Your cake is baked to ensure it is fresh for the date of your event. After this date, we advise
sponge cakes are frozen as soon as possible to ensure its condition is maintained, otherwise, we cannot
guarantee its quality if it’s consumed more than 48 hours after the event. Our cakes are made entirely of
natural ingredients, so we’d like to remind you that because of this they will not have the extended shelf life of
most supermarket cakes, which contain additives and preservatives to ensure their prolonged life.
Store leftover cake wrapped in clingfilm an airtight container in the freezer for unto 3 months.
DO NOT store fondant covered cakes in the fridge.
**Ingredients**
All of my ingredients are of the highest quality.
The cakes are prepared in premises that handle nuts. Every effort is made to separate ingredients, but may contain traces of nuts . I use a wide variety of ingredients during baking, including many that contain allergens such as milk, wheat, nuts, and soy. All orders are clearly labeled with the appropriate allergens. It is your responsibility to ensure that any recipients are aware of the allergens in your baked goods order.
**Cancellation Policy**
Your deposit is non-refundable upon placing an order. Changes in design or alterations to size will necessitate a new quotation. However, if the celebration is rescheduled to a later date, please verify availability, and we will endeavour to adjust plans accordingly.
I’m fully insured with a level 2 health and hygiene certificate, an FSA allergy training certificate, and a 5-star rating from my local council.
